Without limitation to this, our warranties do not apply to products purchased from non-authorised online retailers, on Ebay or similar auction sites as we have no certainty as to where such products are sourced and how they have been treated.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 year warranty on all stitching &#8211; In the case of the stitching breaking, Rip Curl will repair the suit.<\/li>\n<li>12 month warranty on materials &#8211; this included neoprene, knee-pads, liquid tape and zips<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Not covered by warranty:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Damage caused by anything other than defects in materials or workmanship.<\/li>\n<li>Use in commercial, rental, teaching or instructional programs or activities.<\/li>\n<li>Damage caused by extended or excessive exposure to sunlight, improper handling or storage, or failure to follow instruction provided with this product.<\/li>\n<li>This product when classified as being second-hand or it is being sold as a product with existing defects.<\/li>\n<li>Normal wear and tear, including scratches and fading.<\/li>\n<li>Wetsuits repaired by other repair service.<\/li>\n<li>Surf Factory School or commercially used wetsuits.<\/li>\n<li>Sample or second-hand wetsuits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Wetsuits purchased at outlet stores come with a 6 month warranty on materials and 1 year on stitching .<\/p>\n<p>To ensure you&#x27;re covered by the best guarantee in the business, please make sure you keep your proof of purchase in a safe place.<\/p>\n<h3>Wetsuit Care<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Sun and UV rays damage neoprene. Ensure you hang your wetsuit in the shade to dry.<\/li>\n<li>After every surf, rinse your wetsuit in fresh water.<\/li>\n<li>Hang your wetsuit on the provided wide hanger to maintain shape. Do not hang on wire hanger.<\/li>\n<li>It&#x27;s important that you treat your new Rip Curl wetsuit with care. Avoid sharp objects (especially fingernails) on the neoprene, especially the mesh panels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Using Warranty<\/h3>\n<p>To have your wetsuit assessed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Please send it to Rip Curl Vietnam Wetsuit Repairs &ndash; Vy Dao, Rip Curl Flagship Store, 103 Nguy&#x1EC5;n &#x110;&#xEC;nh Chi&#x1EC3;u, M&#x169;i N&#xE9;, L&#xE2;m &#x110;&#x1ED3;ng Province (tel. 038 39 59 087) &ndash; or bring it in to your nearest Rip Curl Vietnam store and they will forward it to our service team.<\/li>\n<li>Include all of your contact details, importantly both phone and email address.<\/li>\n<li>A brief description about what you would like looked at, you may want to put some tape on the area(s) in question<\/li>\n<li>A copy of the proof of purchase and any previous job numbers if its been repaired before.<\/li>\n<li>When returning a wetsuit, please pack appropriately to prevent damage. Returning in the initial delivery box is the best option &#8211; don&#x27;t scrunch it up, roll it up if you have to!<\/li>\n<li>Your wetsuit will be returned to you as quickly as possible free of charge (if covered under warranty).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Wetsuit need repairing?<\/h3>\n<p>Please send your Rip Curl wetsuit to the above address for repairs. Ensure the item is packaged so it will not get damaged in transit. Include your name, address, contact number and email address as well as a brief description of what the issue is. Please include a copy of your receipt or proof of purchase if your item is within the warranty. If your item is not covered by warranty we will issue you with a no obligation quote via email following assessment.<\/p>\n<h2>Swimwear<\/h2>\n<p>A warranty is not offered on any Rip Curl swimwear.<\/p>\n<h3>Returns &amp; Exchanges<\/h3>\n<p>We accept return or exchange on swimwear when the returned product meets our returns policy and the below requirements.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Product is unworn<\/li>\n<li>Hygiene sticker remains intact<\/li>\n<li>All swing tags are attached to garment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>My Bikini Care Instructions<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Hand wash separately in cold water with a mild detergent.<\/li>\n<li>Drip dry in the shade.<\/li>\n<li>Rinse thoroughly after use.<\/li>\n<li>Do not wring, soak or bleach the garment.<\/li>\n<li>Do not leave rolled up wet.<\/li>\n<li>Do not tumble dry.<\/li>\n<li>Do not iron.<\/li>\n<li>Do not dry clean.<\/li>\n<li>Be careful wearing your bikini in chlorinated water as it will damage your bikini. Ensure you rinse thoroughly after use.<\/li>\n<li>Fake tanning products and some sunscreen lotions may damage swimwear. Take extra care in the application of these products &amp; always ensure they completely dry before they come in contact with your swimsuit.<\/li>\n<li>In order to remove trapped sand, gently run your fingernail over the dried swimwear fabric.<\/li>\n<li>Avoid contact with rough surfaces as this may cause some pilling to the swimwear fabric.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Neoprene Swimwear Care<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Do not wear your neoprene bikini in chlorinated water.<\/li>\n<li>Store your neoprene bikini flat to ensure it doesn&#x27;t crease.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Apparel<\/h2>\n<p>Service Centre offers a 3 month warranty for manufacturing faults, only if receipt provided and depending on condition.<\/p>\n<h2>Equipment<\/h2>\n<h3>Backpacks, Wallets and Travel Accessories<\/h3>\n<p>1 Year from date of purchase on manufacturing defects<\/p>\n<p>Rip Curl bags, wallets and travel accessories are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year from original date of purchase when used under normal conditions and for the purpose intended. This warranty does not apply to damage caused by normal wear and tear, or unreasonable use or neglect. Please keep your receipt, as proof of purchase is required.<\/p>\n<h3>Eyewear<\/h3>\n<p>2 Year from date of purchase on manufacturing defects<\/p>\n<p>Your Rip Curl sunglasses warranty is void if the sunglasses have been tampered with or repaired by anyone other than the Rip Curl Service Centre. All Rip Curl sunglasses carry a 2 year warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects.<\/p>\n<p>What&#x27;s not covered: Scratched lenses, accidental damage, general wear and tear, and lost or stolen sunglasses.<\/p>\n<p>All warranties are void from accidental damage or wear and tear.<\/p>\n<h3>Footwear<\/h3>\n<p>The Rip Curl Service Centre offers a 3 month warranty for manufacturing faults, only if receipt provided and depending on product condition.<\/p>\n<h2>Mountainwear<\/h2>\n<p>Rip Curl warrants its outerwear products to be free of defects in material or workmanship.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Five year warranty on fabrics<\/li>\n<li>Two year warranty on stitching, trims and zippers<\/li>\n<li>Proof of purchase must be provided to claim under warranty<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Gift Cards<\/h2>\n<p>We&#x27;re stoked you&#x27;re thinking of buying this Card from Rip Curl!
